In the next day or so, you’re gonna hear a lot of talky-talky about the Vatican’s summer beach reading, “Considerations regarding proposals to give legal recognition to unions between homosexual persons.” Don’t let the title fool you; it is no steamy bodice ripper. What it is, however, is something that probably should be read in its entirety rather than at the Reuters Clause Buffet. At least, if you want to know more about it than Bill O’Reilly will. I was kinda disappointed it wasn’t in Latin. I have no idea how ancient Romans are going to be able to read it now.

Interesting counterpoint to the abuse scandal. It’s like that kid in grade school who gets called a sissy, so he tries to act macho and beat up the weaker kids.
