My frustration with trolls briefly claimed the life of phobia earlier this week. It was not so much a hate crime as it was a crime of passion. Over at Trevis’ site, one of the more irritating users gave himself a cute new little secret identity and started with the anonymous bigotry and picking fights for fun and double-teaming people with his other self, all of which is probably neither lame nor tiresome when you’re eleven years old. I was getting completely sick of it and thinking, “Christ, I’m glad I’ve got a site of my own to come home to,” when I logged on and saw that phobia had made his third post ever just to give me shit about the site’s color scheme.

This post was ill-timed.

“Goodbye!” I shouted at the screen. “I’m sorry. You don’t exist anymore. ZAP! Buh-bye now!”

Come back, phobia. All is forgiven. I deleted you only because I couldn’t delete Prism, or Elric, or whoever the hell that guy was.
