Seriously, now… forget your Matrices and your Keanus for a moment, and let’s talk about something that is really important.

Chuck Berry is going to die.

Seriously. Chuck Berry is approximately 148 years old. (Or 77.) He is a dyed-in-the-wool St. Louis native. He was the very, very first person to be inducted to the rock ‘n’ roll hall of fame. He is a legend, and he lives right amongst us… and he performs at Blueberry Hill practically every few weeks. Blueberry Hill, like, right by my house.

And I have never seen him. And he is going to die any minute now.

As I type this, I think of my poor sister, the biggest Deadhead in the St. Louis area circa 1995 (she has since moved on), saying, “Aww, it’s no big deal. I will see the Grateful Dead the next time they come to Riverport.” A month later, Jerry Garcia was dead, and she was screwed until Judgement Day.

What I’m saying is this: I’m tired of screwing around and seeing shitty, shitty movies when we could be doing interesting things unique to our habitat. Wednesday, November 12th. 9:00 p.m. A whopping $25 to see the first person inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame before he has a stroke or slips in the tub.

Who is With Me???

Do not all reply at once.
