Reuters again:

Silver colored cars are less likely to be involved in a crash causing serious injuries, New Zealand scientists said Friday.

They did not explain why car color has an influence but said previous research suggested that white or light-colored cars are less likely to be involved in a crash than cars of other colors.

“Increasing the proportion of silver cars could be an effective passive strategy to reduce the burden of injury from car crashes,” Furness added.

The scientists also learned that no car with a copy of Outkast’s “Stankonia” in the CD player has ever been attacked by a leopard. Lexus announced plans to ship its new luxury SUVs with factory-standard copies of the blazing hip-hop tracks in response to this thorough, solid science.

They should only make silver cars. That way, there’ll never be another crash again.

Does anybody know how to write a grant?
