It is your duty as an American Christian to take notice of the fact that The Passion of the Christ is available on DVD today. Buy it three times or risk perdition.

As fate would have it, the selection for last night’s monthly movie night at a friend’s home was Monty Python’s Life of Brian. Between bouts of comedic British full-frontal nudity, it was announced by my girlfriend to everyone in the room that I - an otherwise good person - had really, really disliked The Passion a lot. When pressed, however, I was happy to report I no longer remembered why.

That’s why I keep this site.

In honor of its release on disc, I am taking a minute to repost both parts of my crowd-pleasing, entirely-too-angry Passion review. Enjoy it, and then feel bad.
