In his capacity as a loyal subject of God’s anointed king, Dad wants everyone on his mailing list to know that John Kerry is a false prophet. Proof, you say? Well, proof does not get more incontrovertible than this:

Subject: (Fwd: HMMMMMMM !!!!)

HMMMMMM!!!!!! The Lord has a way of revealing those of us who really know him, and those that don’t! Think about it!

Kerry gave a big speech last week about how his faith is so “important” to him. In this attempt to convince the American people that we should consider him for president, he announced that his favorite Bible verse is John 16:3. Of course the speech writer meant John 3:16, but nobody in the Kerry camp was familiar enough with scripture to the error.

And do you know what John 16:3 says? John 16:3 says; “They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.”

The Spirit works in strange ways. Pass it on VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!

If I had one sweet, mint-scented Christmastime wish, it would be that the people who forward this “a-HA!” bulls*** to me would at least try to first find out whether it actually happened. Just take the three seconds it took me. That’s all I ask. Not only did John Kerry not do this, neither did Al Gore when I got it four years ago. Someone did once make this mistake, and apparently it was George Bush.

President Bush has the lowest IQ of all presidents in the past 50 years. False.
President Bush refused to sell his home to black people. False.
Pro-life, President Bush executed over 150 people while governor of Texas, more than any American governor in the 20th century. Fal– well, okay. That one’s true.

You’re already on the internet. Just take a second and look it up.

(If I had two Christmastime wishes, the other one would be that the people who write these forwards in the first place eventually learn basic capitalization and grammar. A lot of people would have wasted that wish on world peace, but with these forwards still making the rounds world peace wouldn’t last very long.)

I would love to read a study on the psychology of the forward writer. This originated somewhere. Someone typed it out and sent it on knowing that it was a lie. Someone created this lie and intentionally spread it, and then someone changed the lie for 2004 and re-lied. What’s going on there?
