I don’t want to let this pass unnoticed: a couple of weeks ago, I was in full diatribe mode* about a dimwitted government functionary who suggested that prayer didn’t have to be religious. During the crescendo, I wondered sarcastically what a non-religious government chaplain would look like. A few days later, I was delighted to see that artist/animator wreinhardt had realized my vision and posted his interpretation in the “comments” section of my post. I thought, “Of the few people who see the site, I wonder how many of them ever get around to the comments. I’d better post this on the front page for semi-posterity.”
Then, I promptly forgot about it for a month or so.

I’m told that this prodigy will soon be turning some of my older stories into animated cartoons, possibly with my part being played by some sort of kitten or monkey. (Now that I think about it, I’m pulling for porcupine; I think it would fit both my personality and my typical hairstyle.) When these cartoons are completed and online, expect to see that site linked to and persistently plugged. Some will say “flogged.”
