-Guy in prison submits DNA sample to clear his name in murder cases

-Murder convictions are overturned when DNA proves guy’s innocence

-Guy goes home

-Guy is immediately arrested when DNA sample proves guy strangled completely different girl, even though guy was never even a suspect in her death

I picture the Law & Order detectives showing up to cuff him, at which point Don King bursts through the wall like Kool-Aid man shouting, “Only in America!”

There’s something about the phrase “thank goodness for DNA!” that also cracks me up a lot, though I realize that it shouldn’t. The fact that it shouldn’t is probably part of why it does.
