Oh, they’re widening it, they’re redesigning it, they’re exploding it, they’re closing it, they’re hiding it as part of an elaborate prank. Looking back today, I’m surprised to see just how long it’s been since the whole thing started.

Oh, but they’re not really widening it, and isn’t that possibly the most maddening thing about it? They are replacing the overpasses and redesigning the exits, and while that might help with traffic a little bit somehow, it is far less satisfying than a bunch of new concrete to drive on (or a new light rail line down the middle of the highway. But that would just be silly.)
